Schluss Tag au Berlin

For my last day in Berlin I have returned to Hufeisensiedlung Estate to further search the different forms of housing offered . This time my walk from Franz- Korner Strasse only took 1/2 an hour , because now I have a google map on my I pad and I could not get lost .
Walking along back pathways I could see  vegetables growing in backyards ,small sheds and. Lots of firewood stacked under cover.
Now there is a new Ubahn station , Blaschkoalle Allee located on the corner of  Stavenhagener Strasse and  Fritz- Reuter Allee dispersing school children to the local school .
I take photos of verandahs receiving Autumn sunshine and producing dangling vegetation . I encounter my first red squirrel bounding on to the pavement , but am not quick enough to take a photo before he/ she has dissapeared into the undergrowth .
Wishing to know more of what the locals think of their World Class development , I ask at the local shop in Parchimer Allee   as I buy a coffee, he does not know , as he says he is not from this area  ,!

 There are opportunities in real estate,here is one for an enterprising person to rebuild and either live in or let.
