Kopenick

Formerly in East Berlin, but only a 20 minute ride by S Bahn,on the Muggelsee lake, its famous for its baroque castle,an old town centre that has withstood the ravages of time and war.

The walk round the lake leads past interesting houses
                                         Children's play areas
Meeting of the Spree and Dahme rivers
After much walking round the park and waterfront I found Pep's cellar cafe where I enjoyed coffee and coissant. Then on to Fredrichschagen for a beer and lunch in the beergarden.
