Tiergarten

My friend  at the Penny supermarket had suggested I  try their Hafer for that extra energy I needed to get through my daily walking and cycling  schedule, this was especially good as some days in Berlin we experienced three seasons in one , with wind, rain and sunshine.
This day the bus was not too crowded on my journey to Hermanstrasse station, then change at Kruez for Tiergarten the station beside the park
I searched for a rental bike but no sucess,so on to Zoologischer Garten Sbahn ,again no rental bikes so back to Tiergarten S Bahn and walk down Klopstock strasse. What surprised me I was sourrounded by high rise buildings in a garden setting  .
I did eventually find a cycle hire organisationat over the river at Strom Strasse and for E10.00hired a bike with E50 deposit . So I was off up Lessing Strasse to Tiergarten,on to loch on Lutzowufe landwehrkanal, left at Staufenberg Strasse to Tiergarten.
Free from cars it was down to Ebert Strasse for coffee and biscuits at Subway, then up to Brandenburger Tor to follow Strasser Des 17 Juni returning the bike, and walk back to Bellevue for an outdoorlunch.
